Know About Us

Student membership for the Edinburg CISD is over 33,000 students and the District continues to grow at a rate of approximately 5% annually. The District offers a well balanced elementary curriculum with small classes which concentrate on strong oral and written language programs. Due to the proximity to Mexico, a bilingual program is crucial in helping many of our students cope with language and concept acquisition. The district provides a Pre-K program as well as a gifted and talented elementary program.

To ensure students and teachers are prepared for STAAR Testing the PreK3 thru 5th grade After School Programs are CANCELLED May 9-13, 2022.
